Graham Couch has always been in my corner, and even if he weren't, I would still support his work. Time really flies. I remember when Graham took the job at State Journal, I was still in high school. We find ourselves over a decade later, crossing paths once again. I was happy to have him on Chris And Company, where I felt like he provided a very measured, layered presentation about the current state of Michigan State athletics. That is sometimes hard to come by when dealing with the intensity of this rivalry.

I'll have to check the numbers for this particular episode. Still, speaking from an interviewer's perspective, I find myself having to do less research when I interview journalists. That makes sense. A lot of journalists are paid to be writers, and writers are paid to be storytellers, so they're going to be more likely to give me substantive things to hear about.

Even though this is episode 30 of Chris And Company, this is something of a watershed moment because this is the first piece of content that we are using to promote castellanicontant.com. As I said, we're trying to evolve, and this site is a huge part of that. In the meantime, I obviously appreciate Graham taking the time to do an interview.
