Chris And Company Episode 31 (FT. Nick Baumgarder)

Be honest, did I keep my cool? Like I said at the beginning of the episode, I was fan-boying out a little bit over this one. Nick Baumgardner has been somebody that I've admired for a long time. I think he's always been as objective and fair as any Journalist in the state. But I guess there's been a "don't meet your heroes" vibe because even though I've been following his work for a long time, I've never talked to him face-to-face. We interacted back and forth on Twitter, but this was the first time we ever had the opportunity to talk. He lived up to the hype. I thought he was a fantastic interview. It is one of my favorite ones we've done in a while. It was great going down memory lane with the Hoke and Harbaugh eras and talking about the current state of Michigan football and the Detroit Lions. If you're not already following Nick on social media, I highly recommend that you do. He's a wonderful follow there. As I mentioned on the podcast, The Athletic is well worth the price of admission. I look forward to talking to him again after Aidan Hutchinson comes back and wins Super Bowl MVP. I would love to see Nick and Colton cover a championship team.
